About David David McKay has written hundreds of compositions, arrangements and orchestrations. His music scores for today's media of radio, television and documentary films are stylistically broad and diversified. Some of his clients include McDonalds, Wendy’s, AT&T, American Standard, General Electric., Proctor & Gamble, Uniroyal, Sears, and the Environmental Protection Agency. For over 20 years, his outstanding creative musical accomplishments have earned him international recognition in commercial, jazz, pop, and classical music genres. In 2006, his Dorian Reel for Piano and Orchestra was premiered by The Nashville Choir and Nashville Symphony Orchestra at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. David is a recording artist and producer who performs concert dates globally as the founder of the smooth-jazz group Quad Venti.  He is a sought-after musical consultant and personal coach as well asan ambassador, trainer and clinician for Sibelius Software USA. David is an adjunct professor at Belmont University in Nashville, where he teaches courses in commercial music, theory and piano.
